Hi, I’m Kati!

I’m a User Experience Researcher who combines curiosity and creativity to create human-centered experiences for users. I specialize in complex applications, data intelligence tools, online communities/fandoms and digital supply chain products, but I love untangling research challenges regardless of industry!

Currently, I’m a Senior User Researcher for Warner Music Group, where I help build music intelligence and analytics solutions for global users. Prior to working in User Research, I employed qualitative and quantitative research skills to my roles across Social Insights, Product Marketing, and Analytics.

Outside of work, I’m an accessories designer and illustrator. My work has been featured in New York Magazine, PAPER, Redbook, and Lucky Magazine - in addition to licensed by retailers like Urban Outfitters.

Qualitative Research

I’m experienced in standard user research techniques such as User Interviews (IDIs), Contextual Inquiry, Usability Testing, and Diary Studies. Plus some other fun skills like QA Test Planning and Qualitative Social Insights measurement!

Research Operations

I educate and empower designers, product people, and other researchers to do their best research work by building research tools and templates, establishing simple research intake processes, and making research insights more accessible.

Quant Research

I apply quantitative practice to qualitative work like Usability Testing and have extensive experience with surveys. I have previous experience with SQL, R, and Python and am always looking to refresh (and re-learn) those skills.
